Boeing X-51 This fighter jet is designed to fly at very high speed. It compled its first flight on 26may 2010. Although it may take another 10 years to fly for airforce. The aircraft aerodynamic design and a rocket booster makes it possible to fly at 6400 kmp. By having such a huge speed it can travel very long distance with least time possible. For example, just to cross the atlantic ocean a ship usually takes 3 to 4 days of time, Where Waverider can cross the atlantic ocean in less than one hour. The wave rider can fly at Mach 6 speed for 300 seconds, which is just enough to send it anywhere within a radius of 450 km. The plane named waverider because it ride on its own shockwave produce by it. For propulsion system X-51 uses a solid rocket booster which helps it accelerates suddenly from zero.

The Boeing x-51 project is a combined efforts of United state air force(USAF), DARPA, NASA, Boeing and Pratt's Whitney rocketdyne. Flight test: The first flight test was successfully conducted on 26 may,2010. Hyper sonic flight time was 200 seconds and 140 seconds with its scram jet power.
